Greasy Gravy

Greasy Gravy is the acoustic duo of Matt Hendricks and Rick 'Cookin' Sherry.

Matt Hendricks leads the band on guitar, vocals, banjo, mandolin and is a veteran of the Chicago roots and blues scene.

Rick Sherry steps in on washboard, harmonica, clarinet and jug. He has also been a Chicago fixture, playing through the years with Devil In A Woodpile, Sanctified Grumblers, and The Hat Stretchers. Rick also accompanied delta blues legend David Honeyboy Edwards for many years.

These two musicians are a natural match due to their shared love and output of pre-war blues, ragtime, jazz and Hendricks' storied originals.
